Chicken nuggets :
-A chicken nugget is a food with a small piece of deboned chicken meat that is breaded or battered, then deep-fried or baked.
-It also made from meat slurry or chicken breasts (cut into shape), breaded or battered, then deep-fried or baked. (Fast food restaurants fry the nuggets in vegetable oil, coconut oil.)
Chicken nuggets recipe / homemade chicken nuggets :
Time: 30 minutes
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp seasoned salt
- Salt and black pepper powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 chicken breasts( cut into small pieces)
- Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
Step 1 :
Take a plastic bag, add the flour, seasoned salt, and some salt and pepper and mix well.
In a bowl, mix the eggs with 2 tbsp of water.
In another bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Step 2 :
Mix the chicken pieces in the bag to coat well. Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture and then coat them in the breadcrumbs for crispiness.
Step 3 :
Heat about 3-4 cups of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. (or check the oil temperature by adding few breadcrumbs)
Fry, the chicken carefully until golden brown and cooked (a couple of minutes per side).
Drain on a paper towel/tissue paper and serve hot with ketchup.
Chicken nuggets are a little unhealthy, so you should eat the chicken nuggets in limit at the same time.
You can make chicken nuggets in another way without excessive oil by baking.

Time: 35-40 minutes
- 3 skinless boneless chicken breast
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- ½ cup melted butter melted
Step 1 :
Preheat the oven to 400° F / 200° C.
Step 2 :
Cut the chicken breasts into 1½ inch sized pieces.
Add the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, thyme, and basil in a medium bowl and mix well.
Put melted butter in a bowl or dish for dipping.
Step 3 :
Dip the chicken pieces into the soft melted butter and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil.
Place the coated chicken pieces on a greased sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
Baked chicken nuggets are ready to eat.
Serve hot with sauce.
You can air fry frozen chicken nuggets by following these easy steps :
- Preheat air fryer to 400° F / 204° C for 5 minutes
- Add an air fryer stand, and place frozen chicken nuggets in the air fryer basket.
- Air Fry for 12 minutes at 400° F / 204° C
- Now flip the chicken nuggets through air frying at around 6-7 minutes.
Finally, chicken nuggets are ready to eat. Serve hot with sauce.
